What's The ANNA Service Bureau:
At a General Meeting in Brussels, the Association of National Numbering Agencies ("ANNA") announced it's agreement with Standard & Poor's and Telekurs Financial to develop and manage a new entity titled the "ANNA Service Bureau" (ASB).
The creation of the Service Bureau emphasizes ANNA's commitment to facilitate the industry's movement toward Straight Through Processing (STP). On behalf of the numbering agencies, the Service Bureau is tasked with improving upon all aspects of the timely, accurate and standardized identification of financial instruments, as well as the equitable distribution of this information. The Service Bureau is envisioned as a central hub to receive and consolidate ISIN data from the 79 ANNA members and 25 Partners, and disseminate this information to the market via downloadable FTP and web-based solutions.
The ASB will provide solutions to the industry's ongoing requirement to link and cross-reference the single ISO numbering standard ISIN with the myriad of local numbering systems embedded in the infrastructure of market participants. The purpose of this web site is to provide each of the following tools:
- ISIN Masterfile Maintenance (Batch Processing and Web Interface (AIMS))
- ISIN Admin - ISIN Customer admin and customer support
- ISIN Access - Extensive ISIN query facility
